I would have thought it should be the same as under Win9x...

As a first suggestion please tick the last two checkboxes under C/X/S
and see if FreeXP passes the correct command to WinXP.
As a second suggestion please try to invoke E-AGENT.EXE directly rather
than via UKAW.BAT (change D/S/E/C/Client_call to "E-AGENT.EXE $CONFIG").
As a third suggestion please rename UKAW.BAT to UKAW.CMD (and change the
relevant entry under D/S/E/C/Client_call).
Ehhmm - which FreeXP version are you using, BTW? There is a problem
with RC4 and UKAW because UKAW opens XP.EXE in R/W mode. This doesn't
work anymore as the former XP.OVR is now an integral part of XP.EXE.
There is an RC5 test version available (same as RC4 but XP.EXE and
XP.OVR reside as two different files again). See:
ftp://ftp.freexp.de/freexp/test/FXPOVR.ZIP
But this shouldn't be the problem in your case as you would get
different results then (UKAW would complain about a wrong XP version).
How exactly are you launching FreeXP? Some while ago I posted a first
attempt of a FAQ with a lot of detailed hints how to install/launch
16bit CrossPoint versions under WinXP. Probably you should also follow
these hints (but they're in German, of course). Should you need any
help, please ask.
The FAQ is available in this group under the MsgID <9FtNwCQppwB at my.freexp.de>
